Hummus

Ingredients:

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained & rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Pink or sea salt & fresh cracked pepper to taste
  • *optional: handful fresh herbs (parsley, cilantro, dill)
  • *optional: additional seasoning (cumin, paprika, turmeric)
  • Water as needed to adjust consistency

Instructions:

Add all ingredients into a food processor.

Pulse to combine until you reach the desired consistency. Season to taste.

Add a splash of water for a creamier, smoother texture, if desired.
